EURAS at ICEF Berlin Workshop

EURAS will participate ICEF Berlin Workshop between 30th of October and 1st of November. The ICEF Berlin Workshop is one of the most universal and effective ways to share ideas, experience and follow up developments and trends, extend network with international professionals. There will be business meetings, informative presentations and various seminars regarding higher education.

 

EURIE – Eurasia Higher Education Summit, 2017: The New Meeting Point of Eurasia

EURIE will be held in Istanbul on 22-24 March 2017 to cover a great number of participants from the Eurasian region as well as from the rest of the world. EURIE annual summit features and exhibition and conference to expand the knowledge, networks and collaboration opportunities, explore the higher education system, student mobility flows, recruitment dynamics for the participants.

 

EMUNI Supported CESTAS in Training for Pakistani Researchers, Experts and Policy Makers

• EMUNI was invited to take part of the project on Poverty Reduction through Rural Development in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Neighboring Areas coordinated by CESTAS, Italy (Center for health education and appropriate health technologies)

 

Fifth ROPRYAL Congress Opened in Kazan Federal University

• "Dynamics of Language and Cultural Processes in Russia" is this year’s topic. The ROPRYAL Congress spans for five days (October 4th – 8th) and includes many scientific, cultural and networking events.

 

The British Government Declared that Funding and Fees for EU Students will be Proceeded

• UK Universities Minister Jo Johnson stated on 11th of Octover that EU student who will start to study at British Universities in the 2017/18 academic year will continuously have the eligibility of loans and grants during their education. It was also pointed out by the Minister that current EU students will keep paying the same amount as the British students throughout their higher education despite of the exit of UK from European Union. read more

 

Australian Minister for Education and Training Simon Birmingham Proclaimed a Code of Ethics for International Education Agents

• At the Australian International Education Conference in Melbourne, Australian Minister for Education and Training, Simon Birmingham gave speech at the event, Minister Birmingham also mentioned to the success of the Australian international education sector, but emphasized that “we have to make sure that we don’t repeat mistakes of the past”. “This is something the government wants to work closely with the sector to support and ensure that it is embraced by our providers and is robustly applied to uphold standards,” he said. read more

 

In Turkey a New Protocol has been signed between Ministry of Interior and Higher Education Council

• In Turkey a new protocol has been signed between Ministry of Interior and Higher Education Council. The agreement basically covers authorization of universities about the residence permits of international students, academicians and of their families. It was consciously pointed out at the ceremony of the agreement the universities will be entitled to directly manage international students, academicians and their families to collect the official documents that are needed for residence permit. Actually it is a very progressive and promising attempt as this kind of eases obviously benefits the development of internationalization. read more

 

Call for Proposals for Erasmus+ 2017 has been published

• The estimated budget of call for proposals is EUR 2 157, 1 million. The total budget announced for the call for proposals including repartition is based on an indication and shall be revised through an update of the Erasmus+ annual work programs. Those who are willing to apply are welcome to ask Erasmus+ annual work programs and their extensional offices for consultancy. read more
