EURAS Supports Going Global 2018 Conference by British Council

EURAS supports Going Global 2018 Conference which is a conference for leaders in international education to debate the future of further and higher education. This year, the conference will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. Going Global is an annual conference hosted by the British Council, offering an open forum for global leaders of international education to discuss issues facing the international education community. Going Global 2018 explores how tertiary institutions in the 21st century can help to develop globally minded citizens, acting as conduits to international partnerships, creating the conditions for industry collaboration and social innovation. Call for papers for EURAS Academic Journal

EURAS Academic Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal published by Eurasian Universities Union. It is committed to provide a lively meeting-place for international perspectives on scientific developments across the globe. EURAS Academic Journal has a multidisciplinary basis in which every issue has a different subject matter. The following issues of EURAS Academic journal are welcoming manuscript submissions on ‘‘Engineering: Research Innovation and Technology ’’ and ‘‘Education, Culture and Society ’’ themes. New hack team signals Middlesex's programming prowess

A group of Middlesex students set up a hack team which is open to members of the University in all fields, to motivate more participation in hackathons. New student visa policy launched in Malta

A new student visa policy was launched to provide clear guidelines for the facilitation and streamlining of the immigration process for third-country nationals (TCNs) studying in Malta. It aims to make Malta more competitive as an education jurisdiction while maintaining the strong reputation of the local education sector. Students coming from non-EU countries may require a visa in order to come to Malta for educational purposes. Baku State University established in 01 September 1919 during the assembly of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic’s Parliament – a new educational center, where Europe and Asia joined was created. The University started its 1st educational year with two faculties – faculty of philology and medical faculty with 1094 students. Baku State University is known as a leader of educational institutions, has a rich history and today it is known as one of the most famous scientific and educational centers of Republic of Azerbaijan. The University has been the center of thought and national thinking. Azerbaijan’s famous politician, Heydar Aliyev and thousands of well-known scientists, intellectuals, and outstanding diplomats have graduated from this university.

Here also are taught such disciplines as refinements of Azerbaijani language, its history and literature, genetics, nanotechnology, invention of nanomaterials and other wide spectrum fields.

We are delighted to have Baku State University within Eurasian Universities Union. We are eagerly looking forward to our future cooperation and strengthening our bonds.
