Turkish Higher Education System Saves around 250 Million TL with its E-Registration System

The online registration system in Turkey, which has been offered to students through the E-state Gate by the student-friendly new CoHE, was preferred by students as the method used for university enrollment. Of the 586,041 students who were given the opportunity to enroll online this year, 439,275 students enrolled via e-registration. 75 out of every hundred students who were giving the opportunity to make e-registrations, enrolled via e-registration. 79% of the students enrolled at state universities used e-registration whereas 58% of the students enrolled at foundation universities used e-registration. Students were able to enroll at universities directly with the help of the e-registration system. Al al-Bayt University (AABU) is a public higher education institutions in Amman, Jordan, established in 1992. The University is driven by a futuristic vision using a strategic approach and run by momentum and quality to achieve its occupational mission, and enhances the environment, infrastructure, human resources, accreditation, entrepreneurship and innovative for researchers, faculty members and students.

The basic infrastructure is by now completed and includes, 10 colleges, 4 scientific institutes and 10 scientific research and service centers, signifying the milestone of Jordan's capacity building and HR-development. The university offers more than 80-programs at the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate levels to about 20.000 students of which 15% are graduates. The international dimension is increasingly important with diversity that includes around 30 nationalities and forms about 12% of the student body.
