Right before EURIE 2017 Summit you will have the opportunity to experience the higher education environment live by choosing a Campus tours as an accompanying program. Campus tour offers you the opportunity to learn more about the Turkish higher education system by visiting the campus of a selected university in Istanbul. You will meet the International Office staff, tour the facilities, discover the learning environment and explore cooperation options. Registration for EURIE 2017 Campus tours is required so do not hesitate to make your pre-registration.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Festival

On 15th March, 2017 Middlesex University London will host its Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) festival as a part of British Science Week from 10th -19th March which annually celebrates science, technology and engineering and brings events and activities across the UK for people of all ages. STEM festival offers the opportunity to take part in various interactive activities and demonstrations, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to all attendees with demonstrations throughout the evening. read more


International Scientific Conference

Between 21-22 April, 2017 Nakhchivan University will organize an international scientific conference “Modern Innovative Approaches to the Teaching Foreign Languages”. Gross Enrolment Ratio for Higher Education in India Increases To 24.5%

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) informed that the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) for Higher Education in India increased to 24.5 percent during 2015-16. Only a decade ago, that is during the period 2004-5, the GER for higher education in India was only 10 percent. The ministry said that the quantum jump in GER over the last decade was an indication of improvement in registration of students in higher educational institutes. The Central Government has launched various initiatives to improve the quality of education in institutes of higher education. The HRD ministry launched National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2015. NIRF released its first ranking list in 2016 and is set to release the ranking list for 2017 in April this year. read more
