Imagine Tomorrow-International Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition

We would like to proudly announce that this year, for the first time, an international innovation and entrepreneurship event named “Imagine Tomorrow” will take place together with the IV. Education - Technology Section to take place at EURIE2018

EURIE Summit announced that there will be a special section dedicated to Study in Turkey Exhibitor Universities for letting them demonstrate their robotic products and relevant posters related to technology. Last year at EURIE 2018 there was a similar conception with a more limited space which will come out with a larger, broader and more specifically dedicated area for technology this year.

Japan books 12% growth in international enrolment in 2018

New data from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) shows that international student numbers in Japan have increased for the sixth year in a row. There were 298,980 foreign students in 2018, compared with 267,050 in 2017, an increase of 12%. Japan’s goal is to enroll 300,000 international students by 2020, and with steady growth continuing through 2018 they will now almost certainly meet that target. In 2018, the majority of Japan’s international students were enrolled in higher education institutions (208,900), and this sector experienced 10% growth from 2017 to 2018, the same rate of expansion observed in 2016/17. Undergraduate courses are the most popular, with 87,800 enrolled (30% of all higher education students). Another 67,475 students were in professional training programs (up 15% over the previous year) and 50,100 in graduate-level courses.
