Announcement and invitation
Following the success of the previous International Meetings on Wavelet application, this 11th Conference (IWW2021: International Conference of Image Processing and Wavelet Applications on Real World Problems) is online from 23rd to 24th. June, in Istanbul Aydın University in collaboration with the University of Trieste, Italy, EURAS (Eurasian Universities Union), Indian Society Industrial &Applied Mathematics (ISIAM), Sharda University. and University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA. It is our great pleasure to invite you to the event and we hope you will benefit from the high-level presentations.
The previous IWWs: Keeping in view the importance of wavelet tools, Istanbul Commerce University (Turkey) started to organize the First International Workshop on Applications of Wavelets to Real World Problems during 17-18 July, 2005. After that other 9 events were organized on the topic:
- The “International workshops II and III (IWW2007 and IV; IWW2008” organized by Istanbul Aydın University with the co-operation of The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics-Office of External Activities (ICTP-OEA, Italy).
- IWW2009 organized by Kocaeli University with the co-operation of ICTP-OEA.
- IWW2010 organized by Istanbul Aydın University, with the co-operation of ICTP-OEA
- IWW 2012 organized by Boğaziçi University with the co-operation of Istanbul Aydın University
- IWW2013 organized by the Universitat Politècnica de València in Valencia, Spain with the co-operation of Istanbul Aydın University
- IWW 2016 organized by Marmara University with the co-operations of Istanbul Aydın University and Sharda University.
- IWW2017 organized by Kafkas and Istanbul Aydın Universities, EURAS, Marmara, Kocaeli, Sharda and Altınbaş Universities. IWW2019 organized by Kocaeli University with the co-operations of İstanbul Aydın University, EURAS and Sharda University.
All these successful workshops have shown that wavelet methods provide avenues for proper understanding of real world problems providing a unique decomposition of time series into signal and noise components. From the overall spectrum, independent spectra can be extracted allowing the separate detection of components corresponding to different scales of the phenomena.
Aims of IWW2021
The aims of this IWW2021 is to continue the successful tradition of the meeting by giving the opportunity to the participants to discuss major issues of importance for integrated wavelet implementation in case studies of different scientific theoretical and applied disciplines. The conference is addressed to provide the state of the art in worldwide wavelet applications including their combination with Artificial Neural Network, image processing and other machine learning algorithms. The conference would be the occasion of young scientists to meet and discuss their experience with internationally famous scientists by providing opportunity to get in contact with scientists from different countries and to discuss on possible joint new projects at the virtual conference. The peer-reviewed abstracts of all accepted presentations will be published in the conference abstracts book.
