Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Aydın University and EURAS President Dr. Mustafa AYDIN, EURAS General Secretary, Mr. Muzaffer BACA, EURAS General Coordinator, Handan TEZKANLI, Rectors and Presidents, university International Relations Delegates, representatives of International Relations Offices and representatives of international organisations and institutions participated at the UNIMED General Assembly.
Istanbul Aydın University was elected on the board of the UNIMED by a large majority of votes. Dr. AYDIN expressed that the problems can only solve with the educated human resources and UNIMED has an important mission by providing the collaborations in the countries which is located in mediterranean basin in the fields of project, research, education, learning.
More than 150 participants from 20 countries of the Mediterranean region gathered on this occasion to address key topics related to the international cooperation in the field of Higher Education: Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, Doctoral Education, Employability and Entrepreneurship, Cross – Border Cooperation Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Heritage, as well as the role of the University in the digital era.
The UNIMED General Assembly offered a good opportunity for networking and for the exchange of ideas and cooperation opportunities.
