Leading Universities in a Changing World: From Institutional Strategy to Global Cooperation
28 September 2026 | 14:00–15:30 Istanbul Time (UTC+3) | Zoom Webinar
How can universities respond to change while building international partnerships that deliver lasting results?
The EURAS Global University Leaders Dialogue will bring together university presidents, rectors and senior higher education leaders to share experiences, discuss common challenges and explore opportunities for closer cooperation.

The moderated discussion will focus on three themes:
Leading through change and uncertainty
responding to artificial intelligence, digital transformation, financial pressures and changing expectations.
Making international cooperation work
by developing partnerships that support mobility, joint research and academic programmes.
The University of 2035
considering the skills, institutional priorities and international connections that will shape higher education in the years ahead.
The programme will combine guided discussion with short contributions from university leaders and an opportunity for participants to share questions and reflections. It will offer a space to learn from different institutional contexts and identify areas where universities can work together.
From Dialogue to Collaboration
The dialogue will serve as the first stage of the Global Higher Education Corridors Forum (GHECF) 2026, leading into the EURAS Strategic Roundtable on 13–14 November 2026 at Istanbul Aydın University. These conversations will help inform the Istanbul meeting, where participants will explore institutional partnerships and joint academic initiatives.
