From Regional Connections to Concrete Academic Partnerships
13–14 November 2026 | Istanbul, Türkiye
Istanbul Aydın University · T Block Museum Hall
International partnerships begin with understanding what institutions can achieve together. Creating the space for university leaders to discuss their priorities directly is an essential part of that process.
The Global Higher Education Corridors Forum (GHECF 2026) – EURAS Strategic Roundtable, organised by the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) and hosted by Istanbul Aydın University, will bring together university leaders from different regions to explore practical opportunities for academic cooperation.
The meeting will welcome EURAS member and non-member institutions, connecting universities with complementary expertise and shared interests in research, mobility and international projects.

Under the theme “From Regional Connections to Concrete Academic Partnerships,” the Roundtable will provide a setting for institutions to discuss their ambitions, understand potential partners’ strengths and identify initiatives they can pursue together.
Discussions will address joint research, student and staff mobility, international funding opportunities, innovation and long-term institutional cooperation. The aim is for participants to leave with relevant contacts, promising cooperation ideas and clear next steps.
