Prof. Dr. Abdul Manan is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Vice President) of Academics and International of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He is a professor of chemical engineering, the founding director of UTM Process Systems Engineering Centre (PROSPECT), founding Dean of the UTM Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering, founder of UTM Sustainable Energy Management Program, the founder of OPTIMISE Sdn Bhd (a UTM spin-off company) and the founder of UTM Synergy 4.0 Transformation Program. He began his career as an engineer in PETRONAS and Hume Industries and has been an academic leader, educator, researcher, consultant and professional coach for 25 years. He completed over 100 R & D & consultancy projects, has numerous patents and more than 450 publications that include 15 books/chapters, more than 200 refereed journals and 220 conference proceedings on sustainable engineering of resources (energy, power, water, emissions & materials) (Scopus H-Index:33; Google H-Index: 41)

Konstantin PLATONOV
Associate Head of International Office, HSE University – St. Petersburg, Russian Federation
Mr. Platonov has over 12 years of experience in International Education Management and global projects. He worked as Head of International Office of Saint-Petersburg University, the oldest university of Russia. He was Fulbright Foundation fellow at Columbia University in New York and he also worked for Olympic Games in Sochi and FIFA World Cup in Russia. Today, Mr. Platonov works as Associate Head of International Office of HSE University in Saint-Petersburg, one of the most dynamic universities in modern Russia. He oversees international partnerships and international student experience.
